The ShutterLight lamp is made of movable louvers that control the amount of light and its direction. The wood louvers provide a warming affect to the light reflected, and in particular, the cold light emitted by the energy saving compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs, soon to be mandatory. The lamp is made of non-toxic materials, using North American FSC certified wood, supporting responsible use of forest resources and sustainability. Requires one CFL bulb up to 13-watt (recommended), or one incandescent light bulb up to 40-watt.
